Best chippy in carrick ... The only local place that still does pink pasties as far as I know.

This would be the only chippy in Carrick I would use, the fish are delicious lovely white flaky fish in a lovely crispy batter. The pasties are also the best you'll get anywhere! They make a delicious pastie bap served with an onion ring and choice of sauce.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area. -

As far as chip shops go this one is pretty decent. The chips are always perfectly cooked and in general the grub is tasty and fresh. The pasties are amazing. That is what makes it stand out over any other chip shops in the area. There are other's really close by that are beautiful, less expensive and get double the amount of food but if you want a pastie...go here.

Has all of the usual chippy menu items. Good quality food. The prices are about the same as other chip shops I've been to. Their pink pasties are the best.

Hubby has been on a search for a perfect fish'n'chips since we got back to Norn Iron (we've been gone for 2years now). The Victoria Hot Spot has been by far the best, and every one he's had since, have paled in comparison and is the one he's been comparing to since we landed.
I LOVED my fish supper and the curry sauce is delicious!!!!
